“For the last twenty years neither matter nor space nor time has been what it was from time immemorial. We must expect great innovations to transform the entire technique of the arts, thereby affecting artistic invention itself and perhaps even bringing about an amazing change in our very notion of art.”

Paul Valéry, Pièces sur L’Art, 1931

MULTIPLE BODY is an experimental video report from the F/W 2015 edition of the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend. The authors are trying to explore the spaces of friction between beautiful fashion images and writings by Heiner Müller, Gherasim Luca and Michel Foucault. This telescoping of the perfectly shaped bodies of the models and the textual fragments as various as those of a German playwright, a Romanian poet and a French philosopher, gives birth to a breathtaking video poetry that pays a tribute to the infinite variability of the human body via fashion design.
